About Me

I'm a full-time working mum with two daughters, living in Northern Ireland, with my husband and our beagle.

My youngest daughter, Lula, was born with bilateral talipes (also referred to as clubfoot in both feet). Following diagnosis during our 20 week scan, I trawled the internet and found very little practical information. There was a lot of medical information, but as a parent I wanted to know more about the day-to-day management at home (things like buggies, cots. clothes, walkers etc.). 

As I was going through the experience first-hand, I decided to write down as much learning as I could, so that I could eventually share the information of 'what worked' to help others in the same position. This has now turned into this site, with my first blog about Lula's first year of treatment, 'A Tale about my Talipes Titan', and I hope to continually update this with more information about our journey as we go along.
